An analysis of LOSER/LIAR Ryan Dyar’s fake interview in Aperture Academy, Part Two

An analysis of LOSER/LIAR Ryan Dyar’s fake interview in Aperture Academy, Part two.

LoserPhotographers.com Feature: An analysis of LOSER/LIAR Ryan Dyar’s fake interview in Aperture Academy, Part one.

(See Part one here)

Ryan Dyar is a good target for a Loserphotographers.com analysis. A drug addict who lives with his well-to-do parents in Battle Ground, Ryan Dyar has spent both a lot of time and a lot of his parent’s money trying to turn himself into a “professional landscape photographer”. He had an “interview” on the bogus Aperture Academy website, which seems to be obsessed with “interviewing” as many losers & frauds as it possibly can. Part one of a multi-part series. Quotes and our analysis follows:

“The biggest challenge for me was learning patience, learning to take my time. I believe that patience is key in almost every aspect of landscape photography.”

Whatever. These losers love waxing poetic about their “philosophies” in these fake interviews they are constantly arranging.

“While hiking or scouting a location, it’s best to take things in slowly, get acquainted with the area. If you hurry to just get there and grab the first composition you find, you may miss something just around the corner."
Marc Adamus or some other photographer has already done the “scouting” (doesn’t that sound so legitimate!) for these bozos. They just have to show up, 5D Mark II and 16-35mm Mk II in hand, the other hand on their member, eager to find those tripod holes and create their very own Exact Copy of Someone Else’s Photo.

“The same goes for processing your images. Slow down and take the time to pay attention to the details.”

Or you could just let Photomatrix Pro do the “paying attention”. By the time these turkeys are done, the images always look like they just left the Photomatrix HDR hangar.

“It may take an extra  10 minutes, but if you spend the time finely masking your exposure blends you can avoid those nasty halos and harsh transitions.”

Do real photographers talk about “exposure blends” and “halos” and all that nonsense? No! With the amazing dynamic range of digital cameras, there is rarely a need to indulge in any of this nonsense, yet these lame morons are constantly obsessing about exposure blending, HDR, and other crap that has nothing to do with good photography.

“Things like this are what make an image stand out from crowd.”

Pure bullshit. There are hundreds of Ryan Dyar type idiots on Photo.net and Flickr. Taking these kinds of images and messing with them in post is the best way to never be noticed.

“Mountains are my favorite subjects, and though the western US & Canada have some stunning ranges, I’d have to choose the Himalayas in late summer/early fall.”

Ryan Dyar probably just made this up. Has he ever been to the Himalayas in “late summer/early”? Probably not. Yet this pot-smoking LOSER is making it sound like he has extensively travelled the world’s mountain ranges and formed an informed opinion about all the mountains on Earth.

“Fall in Patagonia is a very close second”

Here we go again. We guarantee you that Ryan Dyar has never seen Patagonia, much less in the fall time.

“I actually have plans to spend some time in the Himalayas later this year”

We would normally call bullshit on this claim, but Ryan Dyar does have well-to-do parents, so if he does go there, he will be paid in full by daddy. We urge him to sample the local “herbs” while he’s in the Himalayas, of course (laughter).

Part Three coming soon; stay tuned!

These lies, fraudulent boasts, and misrepresentations are merely a fraction of the many to be found in anything Ryan Dyar writes. Beware of Ryan Dyar or any of his friends. He is a LOSER who lives with his parents and indulges in illegal drugs. This is NOT the sort of person you should be buying anything from!

  1. Come on. We know Mr. Dyar is a stoner wannabe loser who wants nothing more than to suck cock of anyone who takes nice pictures...why don't you move on and get down to business on the rest of the losers out there. Dwelling on Mr. Dyar is frankly getting old.

  2. Looks like you're running out of steam...this is a lame post, at best. Soon you'll stop posting, just like last time because you don't have what it takes to take this all the way.

    Too bad.

  3. Nope, we are still here. Unlike Flickr losers who respond to "comments and critiques" in 30 seconds flat, we have actual lives off the Internet.

  5. You say you have a life off the internet... where??? at Gamestop? D&D tournaments? SciFi conventions? Beginning photography seminars? I know you're not on any dates or hanging w/ friends and family. If you were you wouldn't be such a bitter little boy.
