Luke Austin, a all-around LOSER and MORON, left a sarcastic comment on our “An Analysis of LOSER/LIAR Ryan Dyar’s “about me”” article on the Loserphotographers.com blog. We figured that after this little nugget, we’d check out Luke and give him a “portfolio review”, so to speak. He’s probably been aching to have Marc do one for him anyway.
So here’s what he said:
“Ryan Dyar has officially made it!”
As if the fact that we’re exposing Ryan Dyar for the LOSER druggie he is will somehow make him very successful at landscape photography. Right.
Disclosure. The LOSER Luke Austin is from Australia. He should stay there, as far as we’re concerned. It’s a shame that this piece of shit flies over here to steal our images and compositions.
Anyway, on to Luke Austin’s website. It starts off suitably enough, with a lot of pansy-ass bullshit:
“Firstly, Thank you for visiting my website”.
Yeah, whatever. Here’s his front page:
“For me photography is a form of meditation. I have to get myself in the right frame of mind to come away with successful images. In most of my images I try to not only capture what I see but also what I feel. I am interested in all forms of photography but landscape photography is where my true passion lies. I really enjoy getting out and shooting, particularly in a natural environment. I hope you enjoy viewing my images as much as I do taking them.
Landscape photography is my drug of choice. I’m hooked! By purchasing one of my prints from my online gallery ou would be supporting my healthy habit. Thank you. “
What a bunch of pansy-ass nonsense! First of all, Luke has no idea what a “comma” is. Here’s the rest of our analysis:
I have to get myself in the right frame of mind to come away with successful images | Does this imply that Luke Austin needs some chemical help to “get in the right frame of mind”? No wonder he knows Ryan Dyar. |
In most of my images I try to not only capture what I see but also what I feel. | Yep, there’s the bogus excuse for Photoshopping the Heck out of your images. I’m a dainty little painter, please compare me to Ansel, please! |
I am interested in all forms of photography but landscape photography is where my true passion lies. | No surprise there. It’s always landscape photography for the incompetent and fraudulent. |
really enjoy getting out and shooting, particularly in a natural environment | The usual bullshit about Wilderness. We’re starting to get Déjà vu here. |
Landscape photography is my drug of choice. | No wonder he knows Ryan Dyar. |
I’m hooked! By purchasing one of my prints from my online gallery ou would be supporting my healthy habit. Thank you. “ | That would be a big mistake. This LOSER knows nothing about printing or photography. Another pansy-ass bonehead who thinks owning a fancy camera and fancy printer makes someone an “artist”. |
Now let’s look at his “PROFILE” page, where most of these LOSERS wax even more poetic about their enthusiasm for fame, uh, photography:
“Luke Austin is a dedicated and passionate Landscape Photographer. He spends countless hours studying the weather, waiting for the perfect scene to capture. Each of his images is a final product of patience.
Luke was born and raised in Perth, Western Australia. Growing up on the coast meant Luke spent the majority of his younger years in the ocean. Surfing, in particular, contributed to the deep connection he has with the environment.
After completing environment studies Luke spent a year travelling around Australia. It was this particular journey that sparked his love for landscape photography.”
Yep, more pansy-ass bullshit from a bullshit artist who clearly studied the masters of bullshit, liars like Marc Adamus and Ryan Dyar.
Luke Austin’s bullshit | Our commentary |
“Luke Austin is a dedicated and passionate Landscape Photographer | Luke Austin is a loser who probably has rich parents. So similar to Ryan Dyar. So similar…. |
He spends countless hours studying the weather, waiting for the perfect scene to capture. | He does not do that. He spends countless hours jerking off to the Flickr portfolio of Ryan Dyar and Marc Adamus. |
Each of his images is a final product of patience. | Each of his images is a final product of trying to copy Ryan Dyar or Marc Adamus, and a ton of Photoshop. |
Luke was born and raised in Perth, Western Australia. Growing up on the coast meant Luke spent the majority of his younger years in the ocean | Meaningless gibberish. |
Surfing, in particular, contributed to the deep connection he has with the environment. | What a howler! Surfers don’t give a crap about the environment. Most of them, including Luke Austin, are LOSERS who smoke pot and waste their life away. |
After completing environment studies Luke spent a year travelling around Australia. It was this particular journey that sparked his love for landscape photography.” | Proof that this LOSER has rich parents who fund all his obsessions and throw money at this utter failure. |
Jesus Christ Luke...pour us another round of super sized bullshit, would ya?!
ReplyDeleteGreat work mr blogger...we should call u the Jerry springer of photography!
Any particular part of our analysis that upset you more, or should we call you Mr. Austin?
ReplyDeleteLoved every bit of it! Liking the two column analysis approach...easy to follow so each point is well received. Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteHere's what I say. The best definition I can think to qualify someone as a "professional photographer" is within the guidelines of many photography contests. All that I've ever seen that have a pro category stipulate that to qualify as a "pro" you must make 51%, or more, of your annual income from photography.
ReplyDeleteWith that said, I'm guessing the pool of legitimate "pro" photographers is pretty small and I'm willing to guess that all of the photographers mentioned in this blog, either now or in the future, will not fall into this "pro" definition.
Find a better guideline, that's fine...but this makes pretty good sense to me. I say, show your tax returns if you're legit!
