Loserphotographers.com: A quick look at the THUG & Pathetic Piece of Shit Miles Morgan

A look at Miles Morgan

Miles Morgan is an example of everything that wrong’s with the photography industry today. He’s got a good job as an airline pilot but likes to “dabble” in photography. Like many of the other pieces of shit on Flickr/Photo.net, he probably never even touched a camera before digital SLRs were widely available. Now, of course, he’s “suddenly” discovered a “love” for landscape photography. Of course. Same Old Story We’ve All Gotten Sick & Tired Of.

He is a THUG and financial terrorist whose “portfolio” is chock full of stolen compositions and images. We and other real photographers call these “trophy shots”. This THUG doesn’t take pictures because he likes photography; he does it to grab “trophy shots” and post them on Flickr/wherever so he can jerk off to the “comments & critiques”. He is a stupid piece of shit, a liar, a thief, and completely lacking in empathy, a sense of right or wrong, or shame. Unfortunately, thanks to the hundreds of similar THUGS on Flickr, he can actually be celebrated for what he does, instead of castigated. Let’s take a quick look at his website.

Going over to the “about us” (notice the bullshit use of “us” as if there’s anything more than one LOSER running this one trick pony):

Miles Morgan’s bullshit
Our commentary
“We” are a small group of Fine Art Landscape Photographers located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest; Portland, Oregon to be more precise. By “we”, I mean “me”, and by small, I mean a group of 1.

What a bunch of pretentious, egotistical bullshit!

My father, Hank Morgan, is a successful photojournalist…
Here it is. “My daddy is a successful photographer so I deserve to be one, too!!!! Waaaah!” One thing we’re certain of. Hank Morgan doesn’t run around, stealing the photos of other photojournalists. We’re sure that Hank is deeply ashamed by his son’s abominable behavior.
…but I never took the time to learn anything about them.
‘Course not. Hank Morgan probably used film cameras at that time. No THUG or LOSER is going to bother with film! Just “too limiting” for their “HDR visions”. (laughter).
It wasn’t unti l April 2009 that I decided that I wanted to try my hand at landscape photography.
He probably found out that Ryan Dyar pretended to be a photographer at this time, while buying his drugs from Ryan.
After a short period of time, I was hooked, and have been trying hard to hone my skills in both the field and in Photoshop to produce images that are pleasing.
Whatever. The only “skills” Miles Morgan has tried to hone is the ability to completely copy (steal) other people’s images.
The greatest gift that photography has given me is the return to nature that I was definitely missing in my life.
Bullshit LIE. If Miles Morgan enjoys nature, he can take a walk in the woods, like normal people. What he was missing was all the “comments and critiques” that his LOSER buddies were getting on Flickr. Obviously, he can’t actually say that, though.
I have seen enough stunning scenes during my brief stint as a landscape photographer to last a lifetime, and hopefully my images will allow you to enjoy them with me.
Miles Morgan is a THUG & a THIEF, not a landscape photographer. And the only “stunning scenes” he witnessed were the ones he created in Photoshop.
While I do love photography…

LIE! Miles Morgan doesn’t love photography, and neither do any of the other THUGS & MORONS like him. He just loves all the “comments and critiques” he gets on Flickr.

…I won’t be quitting my day job anytime soon.
Of course he won’t. He needs the ample income from his day job to subsidize the terrorism he commits against the photography industry (stealing images, selling them at absurdly low rates or just giving them away, etc etc)
I’m presently a captain at United Airlines, and have been a professional pilot for 17 years.
Yep. See above. Use his day job to destroy the careers of REAL photographers.
My philosophy of photography as art might be a little jarring to the purist…
Miles Morgan doesn’t have a “philosophy” of photography, except to “Photoshop the Heck” out of each and every stolen composition.
…but I simply don’t have the free time to devote to always waiting for the perfect light at an epic location…
Of course not. Instead of spending his free time with his wife or children, this piece of shit runs around the country, stealing images, lusting for fame, and jerking off to “comments and critiques” on Flickr.
…so sometimes I rely on blending exposures and other Photoshop trickery to maximize my chances of coming away from my shoots with a few “keepers”.
So he’s basically admitting that at least some of his images are Photoshopped fakes. Nice.
Thanks  very much for stopping by my website, I certainly hope you enjoy looking at a few of my images as much as I enjoyed making them.
They’re not your images, Idiot. Most everything on this THUG’s website is stolen from some other photographer. You should be ashamed of yourself, if you had any shame to begin with.

Miles Morgan is nothing but a despicable thief, a coward, and a selfish cretin who is so obsessed with fame and fortune that he neglects his family to chase delusions of photographic fame. He’s a self-entitled idiot who thinks he deserves to be a famous photographer because his daddy is a photojournalist. If you make the mistake of purchasing anything from his website, you are in possession of stolen property. Nearly his entire website is filled with stolen images and “trophy shots”. There is no art or vision here. There is nothing but the delusions of a maniac who wants to be famous. Avoid this cretin and tell everyone you know that Miles Morgan is a thief and a LIAR!

  1. Interesting. I thought I read somewhere in one of his flickr posts that he shot 4x5 film landscapes at one point awhile back.

  6. You can only a be an actual photographer if you shoot on a 10x8 or larger camera. You have to use glass plate or daguerreotypes at least. Film is for thugs. And if you're ever proud of an image, you're just a fake. Anyone who has ever sold anything is just corporate scum or a douchebag searching for fame.
I like this blog because whoever writes it is obviously a real purist, "SOOC" is too much editing in the minds of us purists. I bet the author doesn't even look at the camera when they frame a shot (that is, if they ever frame a shot, because as we all know, actually taking an image is just what LOSERS do.)

  7. If you start posting your jealousy-driven shit in the comment section of your own blog, at least turn your caps lock off! POS

  8. Your logic is completely flawed. Whether these 'thieves' as you put it deserve the fame they are craving/getting, perhaps you should start blaming the camera companies for making digital cameras. It sounds as if you don't want anyone posting any of their pictures. It's sad that full-time photographers are (potentially) losing income, but times change. Talk to a bookstore owner. Talk to an author who has to now compete with anyone who owns a computer. Times change, adapt or die. But all your hate just gives people press, and no press is bad press.

  9. I see the point you’re trying to make with this site. While I have no vested interest in you or those photographers and their families you attempt to harm, the fact is that not all “real” photographers subscribe to your point of view or your hateful methodology. My investment here is with the good standing reputation and name of “seasoned” photographers (a more accurate depiction) of which you allude yourself to be (which I find impossible to believe due to the teen attitude portrayed in your writing and your repeated failed attempts to be clever amongst your peers. I also find it impossible to believe that there is a “we” behind this site. It feels more like there is only “you” trying to be something your not, another characteristic of a teen.)
I dislike feeding this hate site but someone needs to defend the good name of seasoned photographers. (If you did not allude to yourself as being a seasoned photographer then I would not be responding.)
You may see this as a bashing (a typical auto response of a brain such as yours steeped in, and unaware of, its own addiction) but that is not the intent of this post.
I’m not sure how to deliver this message kindly but this communiqué needs to be published:
Anyone associated with the creation and content of this web site is an embarrassment and a disgrace to respectable seasoned photographers. Whether you realize it or not, you are shaming the good name and reputation of seasoned photographers in that your behavior is immature, insensitive, brash, audacious, cruel, hurtful, superior, arrogant, vulgar, and insensitive. You’ve placed seasoned photographers squarely in the crossfire and it is they who you are harming most. There are mature and responsible, nondestructive and much less shameful methods of voicing one’s opinion; especially when representing a majority.
I have no doubt that after reading this you’ll once again go on the offensive (as this is your addiction, your “drug of choice”) and bash this post. When you do it will simply affirm my prognosis of your condition. You will not be able to resist bashing this post as your addiction has you by the balls. Anyone with half a brain can see this. Just know that when you do chase your high I will not see it as I will never again set eyes on this appalling site. Do rethink your efforts and stop smearing the good name of seasoned photographers.

  10. Hahaha you kill me. It's fun reading this and imagining how completely pathetic you must be. If I ever find out who you are I'll be happy to take a picture of your puny ass begging for mercy as lawyers take you down and expose you as a worthless talentless photographer who goes after talent to make himself feel better.

I hope all the money in the world that's working to find you right now pays off. Good luck loser.

  11. Is Miles Morgan a seasoned photographer? Is Ryan Dyar a seasoned photographer? Hardly! Please name these "seasoned photographers" we have "smeared".

    ReplyDelete
  12. In reference to all the "seasoned photographer" comments: What's wrong with being unseasoned. Were all the "greats" not unseasoned at one point? This goes for any medium of art. Did Eric Clapton pick up a guitar for the first time and write Bell Bottom Blues? No, it's the seasoning that makes an artist who he/she is... So why is being unseasoned a bad thing? Do we bash med students for being "wannabe doctors"?

The thing that makes you (mal) unhappy, in my opinion, is that there are MANY young or new photographers coming up that are pretty good, but are taking things in a new direction... Much like music. Or it could be that you are unhappy to see landscape photography become a more popular hobby.

And what's wrong with people partaking in landscape photography as a hobby? Miles Morgan has never claimed to be a "pro shooter" that I know of, but is being attacked for not being "seasoned". Seems odd. I play piano as a hobby, and have played a few times for pay. I do not plan on making music a profession. Am I in the wrong for enjoying music as a hobby? If I am in the wrong in your opinion, should one bash my family, wife, or my personal life? Should I be referred to as a homosexual... Or can we stick to the actual topic at hand and be adults? It's very similar to high school kids calling each other "gay" or "faggots" for being lesser of an athlete. If a black photographer fell into your "thug" category, would you call him an "N"? My point is, if you don't like the photography/photographer then that is ok, and you are more than free to voice an opinion based on what you know of their work... But do you actually KNOW these people personally enough (or at all) to make such claims about them as humans?

I in no way want this to be an argument, just a "think tank" or debate of the different school of thoughts regarding this matter. I hope to get a reply and converse this further, as you have some legitimate opinions, but have tainted them with immaturity and hate. This could actually turn into something BENEFICIAL if done right.

    Best.

  13. Wow, this was awesomely, awesomely so well put! And I'm sure way, way too mature for the creator of this blog to handle!!!!!

    An encore and an AMEN!:

  14. Med students are not "wannabe doctors". There is no comparison. They become doctors and go on to charge market rates for their valuable services.

THUGS like Miles Morgan already have jobs. They dabble in photography to satisfy their ego. They then steal the comps of other photographers and give them way for next to nothing or for "comments and critiques". There's no comparison! And real hobbyists who just shoot for pleasure don't sell their images for 25 cents a piece or give them away for free.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I'm pretty sure hobbyists DO give away prints for free, because its a hobby, NOT a job. As a hobby, they then want to get better, so ask for critiques. I am dumbfounded as to how you can't see how idiotic your posts are.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Photography isn't a hobby. Especially when going to all the trouble of creating prints. Boy, that sounds like a J-O-B. And worse yet, stealing someone else's composition and giving away a print of said image is equivalent to ripping the money out of the real photographer's hands. Will you care? Of course not. You just want to able to flood Flickr with your stolen 5Dmk II images and bask in the "praise".

  17. Fuck you and your blog. Your just a jealous sad sack of shit because you cant capture a quality photograph yourself. Instead you sit at your computer with your mother tit in your mouth, your dick in her hand, as you come up with the lack luster crop of filth bashing some of the most talented names around. Grow the fuck up you spineless fucktard.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Wow, that's truly a classy response. If this is Miles Morgan, btw, you're about to be in a world of hurt, so to speak.

    ReplyDelete
  19. @MarAdamusLIES: You must think about this 24-7. It feels like this anger has reached a point to where it dominates your thoughts. It feels like you're steeped in resentment so much that every day you're dealing with anxiety and stress. This world offers us the highest of highs and the gut-wrenching lowest of lows. Each and every one of us experience joy and loss. We all laugh the same and we all cry the same. It's not what happens to us; rather, it's how we deal with it that either shows our growth in maturity or lack of insight to see the opportunity for growth and we then become the victim.
I can't stress enough how badly your pain is affecting your mental and physical health. You've heard of a placebo? What you are doing to yourself is what is referred to as a "no-cebo"; in other words, you're quite literally thinking yourself into an illness and it will begin to show in the form of a chronic dis-ease. Please understand, this is not my opinion. It is a medical fact. The mind is a very powerful tool. One thought can lead to an erection. One thought can also lead to disease due to the chemicals released of a given thought.
It's more healthy to take the world as it is and understand that there are predators and prey, young souls and old souls. Situations are placed in front of us to A: Test our level of growth and B: Offer us the opportunity to rise above it, see it for what it really is and handle the situation with a positive, productive and healthy approach.
Best of luck to you and I wish you and your family well. Remember, we all have issues, we all have pain, and we all cry the same. There's nothing you can do to turn the tide of photography; the market is flooded with cameras and photographers; that's simply the way it is and it will only become more and more flooded. Take a deep breath and then just let it all go. It's not worth what you're doing to yourself and your family. Life's too short to allow this much pain into your life.
Now, your brain is going to fight this next statement but the reality is this: The problem is not as big of an issue as your brain is perceiving it to be. Only after you realize this you can begin to take the steps toward happier, anxiety-free days. I don't know you but I do care about you. We are all connected. We are all brothers and sisters and we must take care of each other and share our knowledge in a positive light, free of ego and cruelty. That's what matters most, to reach down and uplift, not to reach up and drag down. Take good care and again, I wish you and your family love, health and happiness always.

  20. I haven't seen the "stolen" photos you speak of but I have to wonder...
    Was the lighting the same?
    Was the sky the same?
Were the cloud formations the same?
    Was the foliage the same?
    Was the coloring the same?
    Was the shading the same?
Was the water level the same?
Was the waterfall the same amount pouring down?
I don't get this whole ridiculous site. Our whole economy is based on outdoing the competition. It seems to me that you're trying to outdo the competition like a politician slandering his opponent to win the race instead of getting out there and taking better shots. Seems to me that if you'd focus your time on learning more about photography and thinking about how you can get better shots than these "thugs" as you call them (gad you're an idiot; I can't believe I'm even wasting my time on you...) then you just might get back in the ballgame and start selling some descent prints. All of this crying just makes you look incapable.

  21. It doesn't have to be exactly the same to be copyright infringement. Let's face it. Does Miles Morgan need photography to make a living? Why is he doing it? If he's such a great "artist", why doesn't he create his own art?

    ReplyDelete
  22. I agree. Why does he have to steal art? Why did Morgan steal your car, steal your camera, trace your steps out into the field, crawl across the ground looking for your tripod holes, set your camera to the exact settings he obtained by sneaking into your room while you were asleep, cracking the lock of your secret settings safe and taking secret agent snapshots to put on microfilm (of which I'm sure he's sold to Russia by now) just to steal your art? I'll tell you why; he has planned this whole thing for the last 21 and a half years in hopes of suckering you into crying nonstop on a paranoia blog and showing a complete lack of class. Why else?
