 As you all know, Miles Morgan is a thief, a copyright violator, and completely lacking in shame or critical self-evaluation. You can see more about that here. He has stolen the images of other photographers, meaning to emulate the composition and style of these photographers as closely as possible (a copyright violation and a violation of common courtesy). One of these photographers is Marc Adamus. Now, Marc Adamus is a coward who refuses to protect his copyright. Why? Marc sells a ton of bogus photo tours, which provide a great deal of his income. He’s afraid that if he enforces his copyright, sales of photo tours will dwindle. 

 Anyway, you probably know all that already. Which brings us to the Miles Morgan Ultimatum (available here). We gave Miles Morgan 10 days to remove stolen images from Getty microstock and stop selling prints on his website. Predictably, he ignored us. That’s not surprising. When push comes to shove, many of the scum we write about here quietly continue doing whatever they were doing that drew our attention, and hoping that we’ll just go away. 

But we promised pain & suffering for Miles Morgan, and we intend to deliver. The main driver behind Miles Morgan’ ability to steal other peoples’ work and throw it away for pennies is his well-paying job. Now, like most assholes, Miles Morgan has no problem drawing 6 figures from his line of work, while doing everything possible to undermine someone else’s line of work. Such is hypocrisy and lack of empathy. Go try telling Miles to start working for, say, $16,000 (about 10% of what he probably earns now) a year. He’ll look at you as if you’re crazy. But he’s got no problem stealing someone else’s images and throwing them away for 10% or less of what they originally cost. 

So Miles Morgan needs to lose his cushy job at United Airlines. That will deliver a solid lesson to this scum and piece of shit. It will teach him to respect other peoples’ jobs and careers. With that in mind, the next week will see new websites launched to deal with Miles Morgan and United Airlines. It’s time for the whole public to know about this imbecile.

One of these photographers is Marc Adamus. Now, Marc Adamus is a coward who refuses to protect his copyright. Why? Marc sells a ton of bogus photo tours, which provide a great deal of his income. He’s afraid that if he enforces his copyright, sales of photo tours will dwindle. 

 We don’t know if Miles Morgan has taken a Marc Adamus photo tour. It’s quite likely that he has. We do know, by his own words, that he got started in this whole thing by taking a Photo Cascadia/NWphototours.com photo workshop. We’ve covered Kevin Mcneal and Adrian Klein time and time again. They are nothing but scam artists, gleefully selling bogus photo workshops to scum who want nothing more than a point & click process of copying real photographers and appropriating their vision. A workshop is a great way to learn the basics of being an immoral, shameless thief. 

 And Miles Morgan is a thief, period. He has stolen landscape compositions and thrown them on microstock sites for pennies. Not only does this steal away income from the rightful photographer, but it also devalues images that used to be worth thousands (theoretically) and completely destroys any possibility of future, legitimate licensing by the original photographer. Why pay someone $500 for an image license when Miles Morgan has an exact copy for $5? 
 Anyway, many would agree that the time has come to put a stop to Miles Morgan, and make an example of him, as well. Which brings us to the Miles Morgan Ultimatum.

Miles Morgan has 10 days to remove all images from all stock sites he has placed them on. It doesn’t matter whether he has, or hasn’t stolen some of the images in question. He has demonstrated that he can’t operate in an honest and ethical manner. He must never again place any images on stock sites or attempt to sell any images. He must cease offering prints of any sort on his website. 

Once these 10 days are over, a campaign will be started to have Miles Morgan fired from his position at United Airlines. If he’s so willing to commit theft and financial terrorism against other photographers, he doesn’t deserve to benefit from a six figure income that’s completely protected from the ravages of scum like himself. The campaign will target both him and United Airlines, using advertising, websites, blogs, and social media to spread the word. It will be clear that all blame for the boycott is squarely the fault of Miles Morgan, and the boycott will end once he is fired. Attention will be drawn to the fact that a senior pilot engages in unethical behavior and theft, as well as the possibility that he consumes illegal substances for recreation or performance reasons (he does know Ryan Dyar, after all; come on!). 


Miles Morgan will be publicly exposed for the lying, thieving psychopath he is, and United Airlines will bear the great embarrassment of employing this imbecile. We have every reason to believe that this approach will succeed in getting Miles Morgan fired. Miles Morgan can crawl back in the cave he came from and keep his job, or he can see how he manages to pay the bills by stealing other people’s images, and selling them for pennies on microstock sites. We want to emphasize that this is not a joke. Should Miles Morgan ignore us and hope that all this just goes away, there will be hell to pay. Marc Adamus LIES 2.0 and Loserphotographers.com awaits proof that Miles Morgan knows when he’s been caught, and is willing to back down and do the right thing.

More copyright troubles: Loser sued, and loses, for stealing artist’s work and selling as his own. What was that you were saying, idiots?

 Anyway, if you THUGS want an entertaining lesson, just Google “Patrick Cariou vs. Richard Prince”. This should be an interesting lesson to the THUGS & MORONS. And yes, there will no doubt be the cretin who keeps commenting on this blog, essentially postulating that they can steal anyone’s compositions, and there’s nothing that can be done.

 But let’s face it. The only reason that THUGS & MORONS can steal Marc’s images is that Marc Adamus is a coward who won’t protect his own images. Those images won’t protect themselves, you know. And most other photographers are too busy creating photographs to realize that there’s scum out there like Miles Morgan, Chris Moore MD, Kevin Pieper MD, and others, who shamelessly steal the work of others and pretend it’s their own. 

 And while Marc might be too much of a coward, Loserphotographers.com isn’t. We’re glad to show the world what cowers and hides in the shadows of the photography world.

It’s just words (and musical sounds), right? You can’t copyright words or musical notes! Hey, go ahead and copy that Michael Connelly book under your name, or publish that Rihanna song under your name. As your entire, “special ed” defense, tell them that words can’t be copyrighted. Copy their work word for word. You’ll see how far you get. They might just think you’re a flaming moron and let you off the hook because of that. Well, once you are held liable for millions in damages, that is.

You will read many comments on the Loserphotographers.com and Marc Adamus LIES 2.0 blog. Invariably, most are extremely negative, wishing death, pestilence, and serious bodily harm on us (now you know why we call them THUGS). There are also comments that make preposterous claims such as the ones in the title. Let’s go over some of the most popular myths:

1. We just like to take pictures/I shoot for myself/Photography is my hobby

MYTH. This is a special kind of lie because it’s designed to paint THUGS & MORONS as victims, poor babies who were just minding their business and enjoying photography when Loserphotographers.com thundered on the scene.

The fact is, however, that photography isn’t really a hobby, like say, mountain biking or fishing. There’s no intrinsic pleasure in simply taking a picture, for most of the population. For a majority of the rest, it’s about the photography gear itself, and not taking pictures (gearheads). Taking pictures is simply a part of a bigger process, designed to either produce satisfaction (at a later part of the process) or income. The actual taking of pictures is rarely an end unto itself.

Apart from the real artists, the remainder are the THUGS & LOSERS. Why do they take pictures? Simple. It’s all about taking a picture (usually, a stolen composition that has some artistic validity), uploading it to any of dozens online photo “sharing” or “critiquing” sites, and feeling what can only be described as a sexual experience from the praise and comments bestowed by fellow losers. Pretty sad, right? We think so too.

2. Is it true that pictures can’t really be copyrighted? I can’t copyright my picture of Tunnel View or Mt Hood?

MYTH. Completely untrue and contradicted by every piece of law and case law ever written! This deceptive claim is written in a facetious manner as if to claim that copyright would prevent anyone from ever taking a photo of iconic scenes. That’s completely untrue! Copyright is designed to protect an artist’s unique expression of an idea or scene. Now, those two words are the key. Most thugs have no idea what “artist”, “unique”, or “expression” means. To pieces of shit like Miles Morgan, being an “artist” simply means exactly copying what others before you have achieved, and acting as if you thought it up all along. And most artists would probably interpret the same in several different ways. Unlike THUGS, who just seek to exactly replicate the work of Galen Rowell or Ansel Adams, a true artist hears the scene call to him in an unique manner, and his/her work reflects that. THAT’s what copyright is designed to protect, so THIEVING SCUM like Miles Morgan can’t just lay claim to what YOU thought up in the first place!

3. “If I prevented my images from being copied, I’d be the most hated person in the photography world (next to Marc Adamus LIES 2.0 and Loserphotographers.com, of course).

Well, if LOSERS and SCUM who want to exactly copy your images are going to be offended, who cares? You can’t please everyone, and certainly not the dishonest and immoral. This bullshit claim is like saying that we shouldn’t focus attention on the horrors of the holocaust because one would become the most hated person in neo-Nazi circles. Who cares? You don’t need to provide an account to thieves, morons, and immoral scum (like Miles Morgan). Your work deserves protection. If someone can’t understand that, they don’t respect you, don’t value your work and time, and they don’t deserve your attention.

 Many of you know about Miles Morgan by now, oh wait, that’s “Captain” Miles Morgan (uh huh). While he (no doubt) strongly believes in his right to earn a very comfortable 6 figures from his day job, he does not believe that right extends to anyone else. Which is why Miles Morgan has stolen several Marc Adamus compositions and placed them on the microstock portion of Getty (yes, the vaunted “Flickr” collection). Go check it out if you don’t believe us. So Miles Morgan believes he can steal someone else’s images and throw them away for pennies, while he gorges himself at the trough of United Airlines. 

 It’s time to Man Up, Marc Adamus. We extended an offer, in good faith, to you previously, which you scorned (no doubt with some sense of satisfaction). Now it’s out in the open, however. Miles Morgan, and other shameless cretins like him, have greedily stolen your images and have started to give them away for pennies. We sure hope Marc managed to sell a workshop to Miles Morgan and get something out of this. It’s time to put a stop to this, or watch as almost all of your images end up on microstock sites for pennies. These THUGS have no shame, no concern for other peoples’ welfare. All they care about is being able to sell an image for 50 cents and running to whatever forum they frequent, to scream “I’ve made it! I sold an image for 50 cents….time to go full time pro!”.

 Think of your families before you decide to just “let” scum like Miles Morgan steal your work and throw it away for pennies. Defend your copyright!

How convenient for him that he’s actually got a full-time cheering section on Flickr and other scum sites, calling him a “great photographer”. Great photographer for what?
